Virtual Windows Desktop

The Virtual Windows Desktop has been made available by the university to support staff members who are working from home. Please follow these instructions to gain access.

Please note: If you have recently received an email advising that you use the new remote desktop, click the icon that says General under University of Leeds - VWD *NEW*, instead of Windows 10 Desktop.

Accessing MSL apps

There is a folder on Google Drive with all the MSL Apps which can be accessed via this link (you need to be signed into to your LUU Google account or you won't be able to access it). Next, click the download icon on the top right and zip folder will be downloaded and will need to be extracted. You can use this guide to help you extract a file.

Once extracted, the files can be be run by double-clicking them and then entering the site code, which is leeds, and then entering your MSL login details. An icon for the app will then be displayed on the desktop so the app can be opened anytime.
