Remote desktop IT support
If you are having a technical issue whilst working from home, IT can can remotely connect to your device and provide support. If you have had a look at our solution articles and online for a solution but you are still struggling with something, please put in a ticket here. If IT decide to remotely connect to your device, there a few steps that you need to complete:
1. Visit this page
2. Enter the session code which IT will send you and click Join session
3. A window with the options below will appear. Click on TeamViewer Quick Support and a file will be downloaded. Click on the downloaded file to run it.
4. You may be prompted to confirm the installation, click Yes. Another window will open like the one below. Wait for a few seconds and you will receive a prompt which will ask you if you want an IT staff member to connect to your device, click Allow.
5. IT will then be remotely connected to your device. When you are connected, a window like the one below will appear at the bottom right of your screen. You can click on the message icon to chat with IT or you may receive instructions from there.
