Recover a backup of a file on the O, U, or M drive

Backups of the network drives (O, U, and M) are taken at approximately 10:30 PM every day. You can access these backups through the Previous Version option in a folder's properties. If the file was created,or you need a copy of the file since the last backup was taken (i.e. a copy of the file from earlier in the day, not the previous day), this option will not be able to restore your file.

Around one month worth of daily backups are retained and accessible on the system, although there may be additional days kept in some circumstances.

Recovering a Previous Version of a File

To recover a file: -

locate the folder the file was originally located in
right click the folder and select Restore previous versions
select the date of the file to restore from the list and click Open to view the files from that day. You can then copy them to the original location or another folder.
